by TD Staff ReporterJanuary 23, 2018

Steve Franz - LSU Athletics
FootballScoop.com is reporting that former Florida State head strength coach Vic Viloria will likely join Tommy Moffitt’s strength staff at LSU.
The New Orleans native was not retained by new FSU head coach Willie Taggart.

While any hiring is not complete, we understand there is a strong possibility Viloria comes aboard.
Viloria spent the past eight seasons at Florida State, where he helped Jimbo Fisher mold a program that claimed multiple ACC titles and a national championship in 2013. He remained with the Seminoles through the 2017 season, but was not brought to Texas A&M with Fisher and was not retained by new ‘Noles head coach Willie Taggart.
A Lousiana native, Viloria previously served in an interim role at LSU before becoming the head strength coach at SMU in 2007. Viloria played college football for the Mustangs.

I'm just a lil curious why Jimbo Fisher didn't bring him to Texas A&M and Willie Taggart didn't retain him. How you have a strength and conditioning coach for 8 years who started with you at a university and help you win a National Championship and you don't bring him with you to a new job, that's really weird.

Any additional strength coaching for the Tigers is much needed. To some of you idiots it wouldn't matter if O hired saban as an assistant, you'd still see negativity in it. You negators are really pathetic.

Wow. You really sound like you know what you're talking about. Why don't you go apply for a position on the LSU staff, since you know so much? Lol, idiot. BTW, Fred Flintstone is the head coach at South Carolina, not LSU.
