Report: LSU DL Christian LaCouture Believed To Have Suffered ACL Injury

Jimmy Smith with NOLA.com is reporting that LSU senior defensive lineman Christian LaCouture has suffered a knee injury that could keep him out for an extended period of time.

LSU football program took a hit on Monday, as senior defensive tackle Christian LaCouture suffered what could be a major knee injury, according to multiple sources.
The severity of his injury is not yet known, but early thoughts are that it is an ACL injury. The difference between a sprain and tear are significant, with the latter calling for surgery and ultimately ending LaCouture's season before it started.
