LSU athletics director Joe Alleva reportedly contacted the league office after Saturday's game to express his displeasure on the targeting penalty which led to Devin White's ejection, according to Ross Dellenger.

Alleva is reportedly fighting against the ruling, which would keep White on the sidelines for the first half of the Alabama game in two weeks.

This is just joe trying to make joe look good. Nothing impactful will come of this.

People like you complain if Alleva does nothing and complain if he does. Many LSU fans are just fed up with SEC crap and Bama favoritism. It ALWAYS occurs. LSU is just supposed to sit down and shut up. Oh and Patrick Peterson had tge interception and BOTH FEET IN BOUNDS but the SEC still let Bama keep the ball in a critical situation. There was video replay then and nobody corrected the call. This crap is just fricking old.

And if he done nothing you would say he’s a piece of shite for not trying. I’m not a fan of Alleva but in reality the guy can do nothing right. If he does something he’s just trying to make himself look good and if he doesn’t he’s a piece of shite pussy who doesn’t do his job. He really can’t win in this situation lol.

I think LSU should look into joining another conference that is better organized. Big ten pays the best 50m per year. Compared to the secs 40 million per year. The acc is another probably better option.

Understand, human nature is to take one tough situation after another until you have had enough. Then you look for justice. When there isn’t a defined avenue for you to pursue, and you are basically told to sit down and shut up and just take it.. then you get mad, even angry, and if you care enough about something that you believe you must defend it, men will do crazy things.. I predict crazy things in 2 two weeks. There will be a lot of angry Tiger fans looking for justice.. The game, due to the SEC office, has become secondary. This will be a very hostile crowd due to the sec office and officiating we have constantly had to deal with over the years. Hang on. It’s gonna be a wild ride...

The side by side of the Alabama hit on the TN QB is spot on. If White's hit is targeting then the Bama hit is without a doubt targeting. Ironic one is overruled and the other isn't.

Skankey looks like a total doofus. Hope Bama is paying him well.

They need to file a lawsuit. Make the courts deem him eligible for bama and fight it. At least it will delay the punishment.

I am usually not one to say refs are acting crooked. But the way they ran up to NickFitz and acted like he had just been decapitated and made him leave.... That was some shady shite.

It’s good to hear we are not taking this laying down. The whole thing stinks and should be corrected

There is no appeals process but they can revisit the video and correct the call if it is warranted.

They will never admit they were wrong and don’t want to open that floodgate.

This is beyond ridiculous. LSU and 11 other SEC schools need to secede and start a new conference

What an amazing coincidental horrible call knowing that it would damage LSU's Defense before the upcoming donnybrook with the Midget. This crap is nothing new. Bama is always the benefactor of various SEC bull shite. It's beyond obvious there is favoritism. How can anyone review that pkay and call it targeting? Pathetic.

If all it does is draw attention to this SEC bias then it is worth it.

Go to the NCAA. You aren’t going to get anywhere from those people. They’re the ones who actually confirmed it after reviewing the BS call. It’s not in them to be fair.

Just an FYI... the guy who brought Saban to LSU is the President of the NCAA.

Coach O should start Devin White. If Sankey has an issue with it, Coach O should be like, fight me..

Sure just start him and get the whole game disqualified.
