The LSU coaching staff received some great news on Thursday afternoon when four-star linebacker Jacob Phillips announced that he was flipping his commitment from Oklahoma to LSU.

Following his announcement, a few current LSU commits took to Twitter to welcome Phillips to the family.

I can't believe the sheer number of people saying he was paid cash to flip. I guess I forgot what a-holes Sooner fans were. I mean, God forbid a defensive player would want to play for the best Def-Coord in the nation, at a school with the highest number of players in the NFL.
