Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
LSU defensive end Rashard Lawrence met with the media on Tuesday and said that he is going to find a way to play in Saturday's game vs. Florida in Gainesville. He also said that Ex Alexander will be back Saturday as well.

Both Lawrence and Alexander missed last week's game vs. Troy with injuries.

It’s not about how fired up they are coming out of the locker room pre-game. It’s about how fired up they are when they give up a kick off return TD to start the game. Will they be hanging their heads and sulking or will the fired up? We’ll see. Everybody has a plan til they get punched in the mouth.

Nice to hear you're deciding to play this week rashard. Sometimes you have to play the game of football banged up and hurting. Especially when you know you're team needs you so badly. Coulda used you last week rashard...could have made a big difference. We need some toughness on this team. Devin white seems to be the only one on defense so far that shows up every game.

But he is from NORTH Louisiana, so how can he be any good. Oh wait the 2 best players on defense are from there!

Having Rashard and Ed on that d-line and Campbell on the o-line at least gives us a Fighting Tiger chance!

Rashard, devin, greedy, and those freshmen will be the saving grace going forward hopefully next year. I just think a lot of our problems lie with leadership alone.

NORTH Louisiana! What is going on with them being the leaders and the REAL Louisiana players from SOUTH Louisiana not...even the head coach?

Getting Lawrence and Alexander back on the field is huge to the defense.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I wish the entire team would have brought 20% as much enthusiasm to "Troy Week"
