LSU defensive end Rashard Lawrence is probable to play Saturday's vs. Utah State, Ed Orgeron announced on his weekly radio show Wednesday night.

Earlier in the day, Orgeron said that Lawrence was likely out for Saturday.

Lawrence suffered an injury vs. Texas on September 7 and missed LSU's last two games.

Smart to get these past injured players on the field for at least some plays against Utah St as a primer for the upcoming SEC schedule.

He needs to play sparingly, but play. I don't want him testing the waters against Florida!
