LSU defensive lineman Rashard Lawrence spoke to the media this week at the NFL Combine and talked about what he will bring to an NFL team.

His answer was great:

Probably going to be just like his uncle. A backup. Not sure the ankles can hold up.

I recall how excited we were when he signed with LSU. He exceeded expectations because he brought maturity and leadership along with his athletic talent

This brings up a good point, which players on this team won a state championship in high school? Could have a few going for the trifecta. The super trifecta is if you win an LA high school one, LSU and then the Saints!

I think he won 2 State Championships at Neville. He certainly was no stranger to the Dome back in January.

I've been watching Rashard play since he was at Neville and my wife worked with his mom at Lexington in Monroe. I wish nothing for the best for this guy and hope he knocks it out of the park at the combine. Great guy, great family, and great player.
