The family of Denzel Nkemdiche released a statement Thursday saying that his condition is "not life-threatening," but he will remain in the hospital to recover and will not play this weekend vs. LSU.

Multiple sources are reporting that Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche is in the intensive care unit of Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi and has been there since Monday.
The reason for his hospitalization is unknown. Per Rivals.com:
Nkemdiche leads the Rebels with 53 tackles so far this season.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said earlier Wednesday Nkemdiche is "dealing with a personal matter."
