Let me go ahead and say it for him, because you know he’ll say it on Monday and on Wednesday.

Coach Orgeron takes full responsibility. He’s the head coach and he knows how special LSU is to the people of this great state. But he takes full responsibility for th e team and the loss.

Don't forget about him saying they had a tremendous week of practice.

I mean because of the stupid buyout, 70 percent of his remaining contract which is appx. 70 percent of 42-9= 33 (est 22 M); may not be able to just fire him. Who makes these contracts?

Tigers looked unprepared. I was at the game and we looked like a deer in the headlights once again. The offense looked stupid and the defense stayed on the field too long. So, at what point do we say, the party is over and we get a real coaching staff??

you think high calibre coaches are just out there hanging from trees, waiting to be hired? not to mention not even midway through season? all i can say is i will take 4 losses and a W at alabama over no losses except to alabama. they can still get things ironed out....stranger things have happened. we need to have some faith and in o to get it together.

At what point tonight did you think, yeah if they iron that out we have a real chance at Alabama. The Alabama game is gonna be to the tune of 55-14.

I certainly hope high calibre coaches are not hanging from trees. I hope no coaches are hanging from trees, it would make things very uncomfortable.
user avatar
Yeah, you can’t lose to Kentucky 42-21.

There must be some internal problems on the team and staff that we don’t know about because the team just looks like they don’t want to be there. It is not simply disorganization. It looks like there is a bad case of “don’t give schit”.

This entire situation needs to be pulled out by the root and there is no need to wait on firing O. Firing him now would let the college football world know that LSU is moving on and looking for a new coach. It would be a positive and LSU would be talked about regarding every coach in the country instead of constant negativity regarding O’s impending firing. There is no positive in continuing the blood letting and embarrassment. Fire him asap.

Ed O said 'Cats run game was a surprise to him?

The surprise is that the #7 Running attack in the SEC (Kentucky) which averaged approximately 189 ypg ran all over LSU for 330 yards. These coaches Orgeron has hired do not know what they are doing. This is the SEC and not the defensive backfield of the Vikings. On both sides of the ball we are led by coaches with no experience as a coordinator and it shows. And tell me Jones was a coordinator at some MEAC school. That crap does not count at this level. Orgeron’s coaching hires have been disasterous. O has to go. Now.
