I will miss the days of a good 20-17 football game. I love a stifling defense. I used to make fun of conferences that “played no defense” en route to scores in the realm of 56-49. Well, here we are...excited about our team and the hyper-charged offense. But, I HATE giving up points. Esp easy points

when you can't tackle, can't cover, and look slow and soft, teams like vanderbilt will score on you... teams like alabama, and maybe even florida and auburn, will kill you...

Defense seems to be a close coverage/gambling defense, but you got to remember they are on the field an awful lot, starting field position generally around the opponents 25!

Hey ho, moffit has to geaux Injuries are out of control. Either he overworks them or underworks them. But either way he is done.

I had wanted to see if the LSU road fans would outdo the UGA road fans and I believe y’all did. It has to be a tad demoralizing for the Vandy players to jog out and see their opponents fans out number their own in their stadium.

Our defense is gonna be “stressed” this year with our quick strike offense... because they will be on the field a lot... but having an offense that’s “too efficient” isn’t a bad problem to have!

they can't tackle... THAT is why they're going to be stressed...

Letting Vanderbilt score 38 pts is not dominating...its the opposite. Winning 28-0 would have been a better showing. There is a defensive problem that's for sure.

They didn’t score 38 on the defense they scored 24 know what you are talking about before you post bullshite

Again, for the intellectually challenged, LSU has a problem with their defense...a big problem.

defense is good enough to beat lower rung teams... doesn't stand a chance against alabama...

Just imagine if our offense wasn’t as good as it is today. Yikes. Let that sink in.

Imagine if our offense efficiency didn't provide their offense that many opportunities to score.

Among so many questions I have about our defense.. wth has happened to Delpit!?!

I get it we had a couple mistakes from CEH and Myles but can’t get over the missed tackles and assignments. I was just saying imagine the offense we would’ve had the last few years this game would be a nail biter. When our offense is good someone has to complain about something. Tackling has been an issue since game 1

Not pretty dominant on Defense

Yes pretty dominant . If not for the 2 tds on the fumble on the goal line and the roughing the passer pick six . It’s a 42 point win .

While they did dominate, the defense ought to be ashamed of themselves. Played awful yet again against a very mediocre offense.

Ya. I'm at a loss as to how this has happened.

Great Win, Defensive backs need to work on tackling for the next 2 weeks. Shameful the amount of biffed tackles out of our secondary. Every last one of them missed multiple tackles this game.

Yup, I don't get it. In past they never missed tackles, now its non stop, even Delpit

Look LSU didn't have a perfect game, in fact not even fricking close to that, but if you don't think they didn't dominate today, then I can't help you.
