According to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, five-star defensive tackle Dominick McKinley will not be signing with a school this week. Instead, McKinley will wait until February to sign.

The 6-5, 280-pound prospect from Lafayette, La. (Acadiana), has been committed to Texas A&M since September, giving his verbal pledge to the previous coaching staff.

McKinley is rated the No. 1 overall player from Louisiana and one of the top defensive linemen in the country.

LSU, Texas, and Tennesee are pushing hard for his commitment and will likely get visits from McKinley in January before he decides.

Head coach Brian Kelly and running back coach Frank Wilson visited with McKinley and his younger brother Darryus last week.

Damn, he is the most sought after player in the nation right now. Which means he will stay home. Post football career he will have it made in Louisiana, just go to LSU, put in the work and the rest will happen for you!

Agreed. Don’t take that NIL money so if it doesn’t work out for you you can be an insurance salesman in Louisiana!

Who wouldn’t want to play where your family and friends can be in the stadium to watch you play every single game of your college career?

BK will have to sign McKinley and Bussey for this class to outrank ND, Which is partly why he came here. Freeman doesn't seem to have a problem recruiting there.
