Former LSU running back Nick Brossette made his NFL Preseason debut on Thursday night for the New England Patriots and had quite a game.

Brossette led all Patriots rushers in carries (22) yards (66) and touchdowns (1). He also scored on a 2-point conversion on a pass from quarterback Jarrett Stidham.

The Baton Rouge native signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent back in April.

66 yards on 22 carries... not good

Glad to see the amazing streak of LSU RB’s which have made it to the NFL. I realize he is still a long shot for the 53-man roster. But every LSU starting RB almost all the way back to Faulk has at least taken some preseason snaps in The League. RBU

FR & Soph year’s were disappointing at LSU. He really proved to be a stud his Jr / SR years. Go get ‘em Nick!

I mean, anyone would look “disappointing” next to Fournette and Guice...
