Head coach Ed Orgeron spoke to the media this week and revealed that LSU quarterback Myles Brennan is questionable for the South Carolina game on Saturday.

Orgeron said that Brennan is dealing with a "significant" lower-body injury that's taking time to heal and that he would not have played vs. Florida had the game not been postponed.

Freshmen quarterbacks TJ Finley and Max Johnson will be next in line to replace Brennan vs. the Gamecocks if he is unable to play.

Looks like we have returned to the time when (random 2nd string player) is the fans' favorite player on the team.

Max Johnson's speed to Joe Burrow, says he's faster than TJ Finley. He can be mobile out of the pocket Probably a good idea since our OLine couldn’t identify a pass rush if they had a PowerPoint presentation.

They identify correctly about 25% of the time but still get beat on half of those plays so they are performing at about 12.5% efficiency. They couldn’t run block effectively against a good JUCO front.

Aww man, we gonna fight no matter what, however it’s not a bad idea to assess the damage before hand.

Lol. Brennan has had the best start to a career for any LSU QB in history and people on here giving up on him. Good lord. He definitely needs to get healthy and get playing because I’d rather a 5th year talented senior play than a true Soph next year as LSU tries to get right.

Correct. If Brennan can play there is no question who should be starting.

Thank you. If you’re bashing Brennan, one of the few good things Tiger fans have going for them at the moment, you’re bat to the shite crazy.

Just get everyone some good game time experience to figure out what we have so we can be ready to go next year. The 2020 experiment!

At this point I saw screw it... season is lost. Let's see what our backup QB's have.

Why? Myles still has a year of eligibility left so HE needs experience for a run next year. Need to get him back on the field when healthy.
