LSU fullback Tory Carter and fullback Racey McMath will be out for the upcoming game vs. Alabama, head coach Ed Orgeron announced on Monday.

McMath suffered an injury in the Arkansas game two weeks ago and did not play vs. Texas A&M.

Carter also did not play in last week's game vs. A&M but Orgeron did not specify why he is out.

Q. How much was not being able to get a push in the run game, not having Tory Carter available? What is his status coming back? Is Arik kind of more in the position to block?

ED ORGERON: Tory will not be available this week. At fourth-and-one, we go hurry up. We got beat at the line of scrimmage. That was a big play in the ballgame. We're trying to run the leads inside. There was no room to run them. We got to be more creative, get the ball outside and we got to block better.

I'm surprised to hear that LSU still has a FB on the roster.

"Fullback Racey McMath". Glad it's not the WR because that would have sucked.

If my Tigers keep this close at all like within 10 then Alabama should be very worried about their team.... this is a JV team rolling out in P&G Saturday....sigh

Are we now down to three official starters on the team from last year? Deculus, Stingley, Stevens?
