Talented four-star LSU quarterback commit Myles Brennan was named the Class 4A Mr. Football for Mississippi this week. Per The Sun Herald:
quote:

The senior Rockachaw was named Mr. Football for Class 4A by a committee of the state’s coaches and media on Thursday.

SSC coach Bill Conides said the honor was nice for Brennan, who hasn’t let all of the attention he has received get in the way of the team’s goals of winning a state championship.

As a senior, Brennan has put up historic numbers, becoming Mississippi’s career leader in passing yards and touchdowns, among other statistics.

Through the regular season, the LSU commit completed 231 of 324 passes for 3,231 yards and 40 touchdowns without throwing a single interception. He also rushed for 431 yards and nine touchdowns.

Look at the talent already coming in. This kid's a ringer. Let Bebe & Co. go out and recruit some stud lineman to go with him, and look out!

He's also a hell of a punter. He's punted it 16 times this season, with a 45.6 yard average, and has dropped 8 of those inside the 20. If he redshirts, puts on about 20 pounds, and we acquire a dynamic Offensive Coordinator, the sky is the limit with this kid.

I can't wait until this kid suits up for LSU. He's gonna change the entire dynamic of our passing game. Check out his highlights on YouTube. He is legit! Extremely gifted passer. Reads defenses and goes through his progressions quickly. Looking forward to next year because I think he has the talent to start day 1.

And i'm not worried about his attitude like I was with RP, which turned out to be a real concern.
