LSU starting offensive guard Damien Lewis suffered a right ankle injury during Saturday's Peach Bowl and left the game and did not return.

During postgame interviews, head coach Ed Orgeron said that Lewis would "be out for a little bit" but did not know the severity of the injury.

Following the game, Lewis sent out the following tweet saying he is good:

That is great news for Damien. A no star high school guy and earned his place on the O line. I hope he gets drafted in the NFL and has a long career there.
