Fire Aleva for what exactly? LSU Baseball finished in the finals of the CWS. LSU Basketball has apparently found the right guy in Will Wade and Aleva hired him. LSU Football finished 9-4 which is not a catastrophe by any means. LSU Football looks to have another Top 10 recruiting class in the barn and LSU kept the Best DC in College from leaving by doing what was necessary to keep him. So fire him for what? Orgeron got rid of an OC who has had a track record of getting run off. Canada hasnt coached anywhere in his last 5 jobs for more than 2 years. So what did Aleva do that has you so upset?

Can someone tell me what happen to austin thomas former Lsu staffer. He left lsu to go to his alma mater tennessee but that deal fell thru, can lsu get him back?

Anxious to see what type of offense we run. Canada's offense didn't impress me much. It worked well between the 20's, but struggled in the red zone. I don't think this hire is near as bad as everyone is making it out to be. People want a "big name" coordinator, but like he said he knows these players strengths and weaknesses. I wish folks would hold off judgement and give this man an entire offseason to instill what he wants to do and then decide whether he has what it takes or not.

If you saw the entire press conference then you saw O acknowledge that he had an opportunity to hire Tee Martin and TM was interested, but as he said "I had my guy". SE, age-59, 2016 offense ranked 59, 340 pts......... TM, age 39, 2017 offense ranked 8, 456 pts. Draw your own conclusion, but that sounds risky to me.

Can’t be mad about this. We know if he does well he will retire a tiger. No more bidding wars with our coaches. He can develop qb’s and hopefully will get the best out of miles. My only worry is the running game is going to be avg at best next year.
