Former Tennessee Tech quarterback Andre Sale announced Wednesday that he has arrived at LSU and has transferred into the program as a walk-on.

Sale started class on Wednesday and will join the team in the spring. Per The Advocate:

Sale, a 6-2, 210-pounder, has two year of eligibility remaining. Sale comes from a family of Tigers. His parents and sister are LSU graduates.

Sale started seven games this past season at Tennessee Tech before being replaced in November. He completed 58.9 percent of his passes for 217 yards a game, with 8 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Tennessee Tech plays in the Ohio Valley Conference of the Football Championship Subdivision. The Golden Eagles finished 1-10 in 2017, firing head coach Marcus Satterfield.
