LSU cornerback Duce Chestnut announced Tuesday night that he has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Chestnut, a junior from Camden, N.J., transferred to LSU from Syracuse last January. He played in LSU's first four games this season but was not with the team for the remainder of the season for undisclosed reasons.

To say LSU has had alot of DB duds form the portal is an understatement. This guy was one of them. LSU needs to get back to signing top high school talent like we used to.

In 4 games he had a pick. Outside of Alexander, he lead all other corners in that category.

And, gave up several touchdowns. Was not what we thought he would be, for sure.

He had a pick early in game one vs FSU on a ball thrown right to him. He trailed a safety (Sam - 3), linebacker (Penn - 2), and Zy (2) in picks.
