LSU head coach Ed Orgeron met with the media on Thursday after practice and delivered some great news about cornerback Kristian Fulton who has been reinstated by the NCAA, effective immediately.

Fulton, a junior cornerback from Metairie, La, received a two-year suspension from the NCAA for violating the NCAA Drug-Testing protocol back in January 2017. He appealed this suspension earlier this month but was denied and was expected to miss the 2018 season.

This recent news allows Fulton to play immediately this season and likely start in the secondary for the Tigers.

VERY happy for this young man! He made a mistake. He didn't deserve the punishment he was handed. Glad the NCAA FINALLY made this right.

I wonder if the dad or lawyer said to the NCAA—“hey, Urban lies and gets 3 games—this kid lies and gets 2 years”
