LSU CB Eli Ricks Is Out For The Season, Ed Orgeron Announces

LSU starting cornerback Eli Ricks is out for the remainder of the season, Ed Orgeron announced on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday morning.

Ricks, a sophomore Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., has been dealing with a lingering injury that has not been able to heal correctly and will have a procedure done, according to Orgeron.

I called this shite a mile a way... this is the crap ruining this football team. Coach O has his faults, but this culture of "I'm going to go to LSU, show out for a few games, and then use the program to catapult my career into the NFL" is destroying our culture. It's selfish, it's greedy, and it's contagious.

If he is hurt, he is hurt. There is no need to risk further injury for this shitshow of a season.

That said, any player that intentionally sits out with no injury should never be allowed back and should forfeit scholarship money.
