LSU freshman cornerback Ashton Stamps played through two different injuries this past season but is on the mend after recent surgeries.

Stamps revealed this week that he had surgery shortly after LSU's win over Wisconsin in the ReliaQuest Bowl to fix a core muscle injury. He also had a procedure done on his hand this week.

Stamps, a former three-star prospect from Rummel in Metairie, La., appeared in ten games this season and made three starts.

I hope the entire secondary gets the necessary cervical spine procedure that allows them to turn and look for the ball.
