During Wednesday's SEC Coaches Teleconference, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was asked about his Daughter, Landry's, new relationship with linebacker Whit Weeks.

"Whit's an awesome kid and comes from a great family. Glad those two are happy together, and, you know, it really has nothing to do with the game itself."

I can tell you as the father of daughter that has a really great young man in her life and one that will be her husband soon, your statement is 100% accurate. As a father that is what you hope and pray for the them continually. Lots for freaking losers out there.

Don't know who would downvote this - I'm in the same boat - not willing to go the husband route yet because it's still early but he's a really good kid - protects her in a manner beyond his years - I've been thinking a lot lately of words my father-in-law shared with me - loved that man

Yeah, but kiffen knows, just like we all do....this is short term w no future. Guy is immensely popular and will be a pro athlete soon....usually doesn't transfer well to long distance.
