Former LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins met with Police on Monday regarding the shooting death of a pregnant woman in Baton Rouge.

After leaving the BRPD headquarters, Collins attorney Jim Boren told reporters that they answered all questions asked during the interview and that Collins "In my mind, he’s been cleared from the beginning."

Looking at the lead picture, I thought it was an ad for a Forrest Whitaker film.

Collins is getting terrible advice. He needed to get out in front of this thing. Deny ,deny, deny. Early, often and loudly. Unfortunate what happened, and what happened to his draft (provided he is innocent).

I totally expected his attorney to say Collins was guilty of murder. Great reporting Larry Leo.
