Louisiana Senator David Vitter sent this letter to Florida Governor Rick Scott (pictured) urging him to postpone or move the LSU-Florida game as Hurricane Matthew approaches the state of Florida.

As of noon CST on Thursday, the game is still scheduled for 11am CT on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, FL.

A final decision about the status of Saturday's game should be made around 2:00pm CT.
