Clem and ohi st have a better chance of not being beat up and being healthy when they get to the playoffs... thats one reason they get ranked so high.. because they know they have a better chance at winning the playoff...because they dont have to play all the Sec teams and come in crippled..

OSU will at least have to get through Wisc and PSU. Clemson’s schedule this year is embarrassing.

I’d like to leave Clemson out too but they haven’t been beaten since 2017 until that happens they stay in the Top 4 no matter what.

"Until LSU beats Bama and proves we belong in the top 4 I have no problem with him putting us behind Clemson and Bama" Who cares about the past? The last time Alabama played Clemson they lost by 28 and the last time Ohio State played Clemson, they lost by 31. So why is it OK to rank Bama and Ohio State ahead of Clemson?

Because that was 1 game vs. almost an entire decade?

Until LSU beats Bama and proves we belong in the top 4 I have no problem with him putting us behind Clemson and Bama. Better to have the underdog mentality anyway. It’ll all play out.

The polls don;t matter, but this line of thinking is dumb and why they suck. What has Bama done THIS season to warrant a higher ranking than LSU?

Haha Clemson. This isn’t last year. They’ve done nothing this year to deserve top 4 consideration. LSU Bama Butteyes OU

He doesn't put them in particular order. He's alluded to that in one of his similar tweets

Kinda seems like a particular order with those funny looking number-like things next to them.

Yup. Had them there before when he said no particular order. But it's alright. Carry on with your lazy and willful ignorance in order to appear edgy.

You at least have an argument for OSU, but Clemson’s only reason they are up there is last year team. This Clemson isn’t as good

Ahh yes he was in our good graces for a moment, but now we’re back to the “Herbstreit is a homer” just like clock work

Herbstreit is such a homer. As Ohio State's best victory is its win over Cincinnati. Meanwhile, Clemson came within less than an inch of losing to North Carolina and Alabama still hasn't beaten a team with a pulse. While LSU is the only team in his poll that has beaten two top-ten teams. This is the reason why the playoffs must be expanded to 8 cause polls are far too damn bias.

Yes if only there was a different poll that they used for the playoff instead of Herbstreits!!

He needs to explain why Ohio State belongs ahead of LSU. What specifically does he see that we don't besides the fact that he went there?

He went to OSU

Clemson and Alabama have a grand total of ZERO wins over top 25 teams...combined. Ohio St. barely has one (Cincinnati). Yes, OSU and Bama have looked dominant in their games. Yes, they've earned the benefit of the doubt. But I guess to Kirk actual results don't mean all that much. It's ok to rank LSU #1 based on their body of work thus far, but still think OSU, Bama and/or Clemson are better teams

"It's ok to rank LSU #1 based on their body of work thus far, but still think OSU, Bama and/or Clemson are better teams". That makes zero sense. Clearly he *thinks* those other teams would beat LSU so he put them ahead of LSU. It's just a fluid opinion from week to week.

Lol. I knew before I clicked on this page that Herbie would have Ohio State #1.

As long as Clemson doesn't lose he has to keep them in the conversation. His boys are there and he has always been a Dabo fan. Besides as long as the Tigers are in his top 4 don't care who else is there.

Whatever. Clemson hasn’t done jack shite and should have lost to UNC.
