ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit named LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels as one of his top-performing players of Week 11 after his record-setting performance vs. Florida.

Daniels was named SEC Player of the Week on Monday and Maxwell's National Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Daniels set an SEC record with 606 total yards in the 52-35 win over the Gators and became the first player in FBS history to rush for 200 yards and throw for 300 yards in the same game.

JD definitely deserves the Heisman.

And I think CBK leaves him in the GA.State game to pad them stats to make it harder and harder for people to dismiss him because we have 3 losses

Won't make a difference. He already wins the stat comparison. It just comes down to how much the voters care about his record

Jayden, at worst, should at least be invited to New York to attend the Heisman awards as a finalist.

It’s going to suck if he doesn’t win bc that just confirms it’s about the best player on the best team instead of the best player in CFB. And I know that my one view doesn’t mean shite, but if he doesn’t at least get an invite, I’m done watching.

At worst he should win at best he should win. No question.

This decision is a no brainer, I'll tell Kirk who it is, Jaylen Daniels and it's not even a close 2nd. Geaux Tigers
