ESPN College Football Analyst Kirk Herbstreit released his Top-4 schools on Sunday after the completion of Week 5 and dropped LSU down one spot to No. 4

Ohio State was the biggest riser in Herbstreit's list, going from No. 4 to No. 1, jumping Alabama (No. 2) and Clemson (No. 3).

The Tigers were off this past weekend and return to action Saturday vs. Utah State in Tiger Stadium.

Why is Clemson still top 4?

People here are really losing their minds over Ohio State jumping us. I gotta admit - despite them not playing a tough schedule yet, they've looked better than anyone in college football through 5 weeks. LSU has looked 2nd. Auburn has looked 3rd. I don't see any holes in this Ohio State team so far. They may be the best team in college football as of now. Nebraska isn't THAT bad and they were also giving them their absolute best shot last weekend.

Got no issue at all with this.....actually Herbie has been a solid analyst for years and he's throwing LSU a lot of love this year.....as to the polls and rankings, to quote a contemporary infamous traitor: "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

Boy, that win over 3-2 Nebraska (who lost to Colorado a couple of weeks ago) sure has folks feeling OU, huh?

This week I learned just how truly overrated Nebraska is. They are not a good team.

And just like that all the voters remember LSU is really good too. We need the Florida and Auburn games to get here quick.

You have no idea what you are talking about. He moved his family from Columbus to Nashville because he got so much crap from OSU fans that didn’t like that he wasn’t an OSU homer.
