LSU quarterback Joe Burrow had his measurements taken at the NFL Combine Monday morning with his hand size coming in at 9 inches.

The measurement led to many talking about quarterback hand sizes and making a big deal out of nothing.

It also led to this amazing Tweet from Burrow who jokingly said he would be retiring because of his hand size.

They should measure the brain...because Joe is smart and mentally tough...he actually does all the right things you want your QB to do in the off season and during game week to prepare...

Joe broke his throwing hand in 2017. Had an operation. Before that his hand size was 23 inches.

I thought was 10 inches, hence the #10 at tOSU. Wore #9 at LSU...

Here's your stat NFL: Jeaux lost ONE fumble in 2018-2019 in 15 games. You should be measuring his heart, not his hands...And they are the "experts".

It matters for teams that play in rainy areas.

I thought hand size was only important if you were a basketball player. I never seen anybody with hands too small to grip a football.

Have you ever tried throwing "the Duke" NFL ball. It's like a watermelon

...size doesn't matter. LOL! Side note: Really? Is there nothing left to report that they're talking about the size of his hands. Surely you can come up with something better to write about.

Big enough to spank Bama, Clemson, Auburn, A&M, UF and UGA's arse, good enough for me.

That list is damn impressive but I would have added Oklahoma and Texas to it. Just an amazing year especially when you take a step back and realize the gauntlet of teams LSU has to beat to go undefeated. Incredibly blessed we got to witness it.

His agent is doing a fantastic job introducing doubt to Cincy. This is great posturing.

Hands were big enough to carry the Heisman.

The Combine is a media event. It has nothing to do with football. Look at the film. BDJ will just use this as fuel. He’s heard this since he was in HS.

How stupid is the NFL?
user avatar
idlewatcher64 months
The NFL has nothing to do with this. It's the evaluators from the *teams* saying stupid things like small hands.
