"JBoy Show" host Jake Crane said Wednesday that LSU has reportedly offered Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley an 8-year $96 million contract to replace Ed Orgeron in Baton Rouge.

He added that if Riley did come to LSU, he could possibly bring quarterback Caleb Williams with him.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the only CFP coach who is ready to take over the program and understand what 'The Brand' means to the University is Brian Kelly. I still say he is Woodward's real 1st choice. What he's done at ND he can easily duplicate and improve in Baton Rouge. He could be the next Saban with a program like LSU behind him.

Brain Kelly is a good coach but an average play caller and cannot make halftime adjustments. Not a good fit in the SEC. And I like the guy, but it won't work.

Lincoln Riley has been Woodward's first pick since before Ogeron's dismissal. Maybe he comes, maybe he doesn't but Woodward is going to make it difficult to say no.

Why y’all want a loser a$$ coach who hasn’t won any real games is beyond me

This Jay Crane said he got it from sauces, yet neglected to say who. We have no idea if his sauces are the rant, or legit. frick him until he clarifies.

Anyone else curious about Bobby Petrino? At Arkansas he was a monster to go against, coaching at LSU who knows what he could. Just wanted to throw a name out here that no one else has yet.

Sounds like Lincoln’s agent is getting him a raise.

You nailed it!

Tucker, Aranda,Napier,Franklin, and about a dozen more will get raises. All their agents need to do is fly to Baton Rouge, be seen at Drago's eating oysters and magically they are a candidate and it rains money.

Why wouldn’t he come coach for the school that humiliated him in the CFP.

Another one of those "No Interview" coaching decisions?
Reply15 days
If he was interviewed do you think it would be in 3" headlines?
14 days
So he’s potentially making Bill Belichick money without any titles under his belt, and zero playoff wins. Only in Louisiana does this make sense.

5 active coaches with CFB wins…Saban, Day, Dabo, Smart, Ed. Which of the first four should we offer?

Woodward over paying for another "good" coach...
Reply15 days
Will be nice to have a good coach. We won national championships with below average coaches. Riley will excel here.

You still believe O had anything to do with 2019???

He is not a shrimp boat captain. He made 17 million the last year and will make 17 million the next two. He is a shrimp boat fleet admiral and don’t you ever fricking forget it.
