Former Pitt graduate assistant Dave Bucar has joined LSU's staff as an offensive analyst, according to Pitt beat reporter Jerry DiPaola.

Bucar was the offensive line coach at Tiffin University in 2013 and 2014. He joined Pitt's staff as offensive grad assistant in 2015 and 2016.

Bucar sent the following tweet out as National Signing Day wrapped up last Wednesday.

As usual, you are exactly right, SomeLSUguy. My intention was to have others stop using the race card. But unfortunately, it was lost in translation.

OCs need an O line coach who in on the same page with his blocking schemes. I'm surprised Grimes hasn't been replaced. This move may suffice.

as a black man myself if you qualified you qualified however if im married and I go see a counselor I prefer my counselor to either be married or have been married in the past, it helps our relationship better in the same breath as a team full of black men you would prefer a black man to coach u it helps the relationship however that don't make it right. if you can coach no matter if you white or black man coach me. winning trumps it all. stop this racial ish on here lol geaux tigers. im done with my rant. toodles lol "our cause speeds on its way".

I don't know Lex from Adam, but I have never seen him post anything but good clean opinions and facts. I think you got the wrong guy. If you are referring to his first post, he didn't throw the race card out; he never accused anybody of being racist or doing anything racist. I think he was probably more on your side than you want to believe.

Good! We need our "coaching" staff to be two deep like Alabama has. It's the only way to stay on top of every opponent.

He was hired to be an offensive analyst? An extra pair of eyes during Spring Camp sounds good to me.
