Former LSU special teams coordinator Greg McMahon has reportedly accepted a job on Jon Sumrall's staff at Florida as a special teams analyst.

McMahon joined Ed Orgeron's staff at LSU in 2017 as a special teams analyst and became the Tigers' full-time special teams coordinator from 2018-2021.

The 66-year-old coach came to LSU after serving as the special teams coordinator for the New Orleans Saints from 2008-2016.

McMahon previously worked with Sumrall when he was the special teams coordinator at Tulane from 2023-2024.

That was another Brian Kelly blunder in getting rid of him. Remember Greg's replacement at Special Teams? Yes, the idiot who cost LSU the Florida State game and the embarrassment against Georgia during the long field goal attempt... Bill Polian
