As an old friend of mine from college once said, "Ahhh what the f#ck ever dude!" The only reason things like this snowball out of proportion to what it really is from the beginning is 110% due to the media. Our problem nationally is that we worry so much about what's happening in culturally significantly different areas, I.e. South vs West/east coast. The media magnifies differences on a regular basis. It's what sells ad space. I personally don't care what goes down socially in California because it has little to no affect on me other than the media portraying the South as a giant wasteland of redneck racists, which is not the case by and large. Well, frick them both. If blacks in this country want things to change then start by changing attitudes in black communities. They worry about racial oppression but ignore the ridiculous murder rates of black on black crime in the USA. I agree with many here. Take 90% of their pay and give it to the poor they say are oppressed. They make millions a year playing a game defined in the USA. Then they protest against that same country. Leave the game and go work for your cause on the streets where you say it is happening!
