Former LSU quarterback Brandon Harris announced Sunday that he will be transferring to North Carolina to finish out his college career.

He went public with his decision on Facebook page.

quote:

Brandon Harris:
Obviously, it has been an important time for me, looking for a great situation and another opportunity to grow as a young man and as a student as well as a football player. The opportunity to accomplish that is very important to me. After my offical visit this weekend to the University of North Carolina, I'm going to get that opportunity. With that being said, I'm fully committed to UNC this upcoming year and I look forward to the opportunity to play for coach Fedora and UNC. Thank you, to all of those who have kept me in your prayers and continue to do so. I have to say that I haven't been this excited in a while and can't do anything but thank God and my wonderful family for their continued support. #godbless #tarhealnation

If he gets a degree that's an upgrade. Forget football, son.

Even if you don't like him, it's hard to fault a man for taking a step up in academics and forward in his career. I hope he has a successful career at UNC and after football.

Step up in academics? Oh, you must be referring to the African American program so many UNC athletes were taking.

FloridaMike "Even if you don't like him, it's hard to fault a man for taking a step up in academics and forward in his career. I hope he has a successful career at UNC and after football." There were many things that contributed to this need to move to another school, focusing on BH as the issue is unfair and not in touch with all realities of how he got to where he is.

Good for him! He chose LSU when he could have gone to any number of schools instead and did his best while he was here. He represented our university with nothing but class. I truly wish him nothing but the best.

Nothing but class? When he got beat out for not performing worth a shite he boo-boo lipped on the sidelines. Pouted. Made disparaging remarks on social media. He did not represent the Tigers well once he lost his spot.

I wish him the best. I hope he gets the start. I am curious to see if it was him or the lousy offense the Cam hurled up. Personally, I think it was the system. If he starts, we'll find out soon enough.

Isn't Miles's son there? I wonder if there was a connection somehow

Like competing against each other for the same spot? Sweet irony. Let's see if he beats out the 4 other QBs on roster.

Makes way more sense than Herman idiotically trying to bring him to Texas where he'd either ride pine or piss off the Buchelle family.
