Los Angeles Daily News is reporting that LSU defensive line coach Ed Orgeron is not interested in returning to USC and will remain with the Tigers.
quote:

Orgeron, who is currently the defensive line coach at LSU, enjoyed a cordial call with USC coach Clay Helton but decided to remain with the Tigers. Sources said Orgeron remains unhappy with his dismissal two years ago after going 6-2 as USC’s interim coach in 2013.
Orgeron makes $447,500 a season at LSU but will most likely have his contract re-negotiated after the season.

LSU needs to let this staff stay together and get things going starting with the Texas Bowl vs. Texas Tech. Steele and Orgeron havent had time to recruit and put their stamp on this defense yet. They will.

Ed had a better record than Clay as USC interim and DIDN'T get the job. Why in the hell WOULD he want to go back? Great line coach and elite recruiter. Glad he's going to stay a Tiger!
