LSU Athletics
Head coach Ed Orgeron spoke to the media after practice on Thursday and revealed his plan for the tight end position now that Arik Gilbert has opted out and Tory Carter unavailable.

Orgeron says that freshman Kole Taylor and former baseball player Nick Storz will see action on Saturday vs. Florida.

Yeah kid from New York. Been on the baseball team for a few years but was hurt? Idk I saw an interview before the season and kid said Ed was gonna let him try out for football. Left baseball completely too I believe. Been a while since i seen the video.

Storz is still on the baseball team. RHP. Throws low 90s. Good reliever. Has struggled some with injuries but has fought thru it and will get an opportunity this spring.
