Ed Orgeron was on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday and provided a new update on quarterback Myles Brennan who is still recovering from a lower-body injury.

Orgeron said he spoke with head trainer Jack Marucci yesterday who believes Brennan is at "60-percent and is better" but not ready to play.

He added that they are still considering holding him out for the season but not ready to operate on him.

If he’s only 60% after all this time, it sounds like a see-you-next-year situation. Might as well call it and go ahead with whatever surgery is necessary so he can roll next year.

What's actually wrong with Brennan? I've seen nothing on what exactly the injury is.

A muscle tear in the abdomen near his hip is what they have been saying.
