Following LSU's 27-24 win over Texas A&M, Ed Orgeron announced that Saturday's game was his last with the team as he will not coach the Tigers in a bowl game.

Orgeron added that first-year offensive line coach Brad Davis will serve as the interim coach in the bowl game.

The Tigers finished the season 6-6 and will find out their bowl destination next Sunday.

Tell Woody that Scot Loeffler is available. They could get him cheap!

Letting Coach O go w/o having a commitment from somebody “really good” was a bone headed move. Congratulations to Coach O on the win. And I don’t blame Saban for leaving LSU. If we don’t have a new heavy coach in place soon, I think they should fire the AD. He’s a weasel!

Yep. Some here don’t get it but this search has been bungled by Woodward. He obviously got played by USC and Riley. Why publicly fire a head coach in mid-season unless you already have a replacement. It seems Woody has spent too much time chasing Jimbo instead off finding the next coach.

Best of luck to Coach O! A couple of tough years, but nobody will ever forget 2019, the greatest season of football in NCAA history. 15-0, 7 wins against top ten teams, 4-0 against the preseason top 4 teams and a post season margin of 142-63 against GA, OK and Clemson. One for the Ages! Thanks Coach O!

By the time that game rolls around (even a crummy early bowl), there will be a new head coach. It wouldn’t make sense for him to be involved at that point.

A true tiger that bled purple and gold. Was a blast to see a leader with so much genuine love for the program. Forever LSU!
