LSU wide receiver Dee Anderson and nose tackle Tyler Shelvin will not be available for Saturday's game vs. No. 2 Georgia, according to head coach Ed Orgeron who spoke to the media after Thursday's practice.

Orgeron did not go into further detail as to why they are unavailable.

Shelvin did not travel with the team to Florida last Saturday and has not practiced this week.

Anderson has played in all six of LSU's games this season but was not at practice on Wednesday. He has 12 receptions for 154 yards this year.

It's a cover-up. What actually happened was Tyler Shelvin mistook Dee Anderson for a French Fry and he tried to eat him.

They're in the doghouse. Shame on Shelvin. Should've done what you were asked to do.

btw, Shelvin is much needed on this team. We have less depth this year than last year. Sucks for all of us.

1) whoever is running the blurb stories needs to be fired because the story was the opposite of what the heading said. 2) Poor Shelvin. Thank goodness O got some depth on the lines. 3) With the drops the receivers have given in critical situations, I'm excited to potentially see Kirklin.

Depth?

Yea we had about 7 or so scholarship OL last year. Now we’ve got about a dozen. Same with DL. The only reason the wheels haven’t fallen off the bus after about 4 or 5 major injuries and suspension on the OL (Magee, Charles, Brumfield, Ingram, even Cush for half a game) is because of depth built up in the offseason.
