LSU coach Ed Orgeron offered up some high praise on Monday for freshman wide receiver Kayshon Boutte who is getting a lot more playing time now that Ja'Marr Chase opted out of the season.

Boutte, a five-star prospect from New Iberia, was listed as a starter on LSU's Week 1 depth chart, along with Terrace Marshall Jr. and Racey McMath.
quote:

ED ORGERON: Well, I really like Kayshon. I think he's a home run hitter. I think he's going to be an excellent receiver. The day that Ja'Marr Chase left, he looked like we didn't skip a stride out there. He was outstanding. But you know what, he's a freshman, and he's going to have to come along. But he's going to be put in some big shoes. He's probably going to start for us. So I expect him to do a very good job throughout the season and get better throughout the season.

If Tyler opted out because of health concerns cool ,but if he thinks he doesn’t need to play to get a better draft position in the upcoming draft he’s sadly mistaken . Tyler get your a#$ back to school an get better as a player.

Yeah Tyler shelving opting out was kinda worse than chase. We got receivers, we dont got linemen.
