CBS color analyst Gary Danielson, who will be calling Saturday's game between No. 13 LSU and No. 2 Georgia, spoke with The Athletic this week and said that he doesn't think the crowd noise and atmosphere at Tiger Stadium will affect the Bulldogs too much...
quote:

"I think both teams are relatively battle-tested. I don't see where the crowd noise or playing there will affect this (Georgia) team. I think LSU can affect this team. I think LSU can grab juice by playing at home. I don't see where it's going to affect Georgia's play that much."

Bring the noise on Saturday Tiger fans.

He was right... The crowd noise didn't bother Georgia... It was the LSU defense that was down their throats that was the issue!!! GO TIGERS!!!

I have never liked Danielson! He's at almost every LSU game and he spends most of the game downing LSU! Only when the game is almost over and a LSU victory is essentially guaranteed does he reverse gears and start riding the LSU train. Sometimes I just wanna mute the volume just so I don't have to hear him talking stupidity! If you don't like LSU (Which is obvious at this point) attend another game!!!

Someone should kidnap Danielson and put him in Mike's cage. Mike had his Georgia meal. He also deserves a CBS meal. Mike and camera the place real good so we can hear and watch Gary's pain. Not intrrested

Tiger Stadium just isn't an intimidating place to play anymore. If you need proof, see the dozens of threads on the Rant by LSU fans complaining about crowds that arrive late, leave early, and sit on their hands. I don't know if its the seven game losing streak to Bama, the Troy loss last year or the Florida losses at home, but the "intimidating atmosphere" of Tiger Stadium is now basically a legend ready to be swept onto the ash heap of history.

I’ve seen games back in the old days before the upper deck was even built that were louder and had more electricity than what we’re seeing today.

Don't totally agree, however I see the intimidating factor of TS has somewhat diminished since my first year of season tickets in '97. The 2007 beatdown of florsux was the loudest I've heard. The losses to the gumps in 2014 and 2016 were loud, but unfortunately didn't affect the outcome.

Having to listen to the CBS morons make it incredibly rough to watch the game. Even if LSU proves him wrong, they will figure out a way to disrespect LSU.

Well Tiger fans, it's time to go old school this weekend and make those MFer's feel it in their chest, ears, hair and rattle Georgia's helmets. It's time to get obnoxiously loud in this mother fricker!! Need to turn the needle up to jet engine loud. Extremly unformfortable for a human being! Let's freakn get it!

Because real fans can't afford tickets anymore. Rich people show up late, leave early and don't dare make a sound.

If LSU had a hair on their arse this would be posted everywhere around the stadium, shown on the scoreboard, and read over the PA.
