According to a report from The Advocate, LSU Special Team coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto is taking on more responsibility by working with the linebackers during practice.

Beckwith, who plays middle linebacker, said Bradley Dale Peveto has taken more of a direct role coaching the linebackers. This has freed up new defensive coordinator Kevin Steele to work with all three primary defensive groups, including defensive line and defensive backs.
LSU linebacker Kendell Beckwith says that coach Steele still spends about half his time in the linebackers’ meeting room.

LSUalum2001---What about his tenure at Northwestern State? He is NOT a good coach...this is disturbing.

And this is why it's folly to expect LSU's defense to carry on without any problems. This guy shouldn't even be on the staff. Notice how terrible we were in special teams coverage last year.

Kevin Steele needs to get out of Coach Raymond and O's hair. They can do their job well, just focus on LB's. Doesn't need to work with all three groups.

BDP is a good coach. Don't knock his coaching abilities based off of the 2008 Malveto debacle. The defense didn't have any room for error with all of those pick 6s that season.

Whatever. No one said anything about Bradley dale until he was co defensive coordinator. Prior to that he was special teams coordinator and linebacker coach. Did a pretty good job then huh? As I recall we won a national championship with him coaching linebackers.
