During the weekly SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday, coach Les Miles pretty much said that sophomore LSU quarterback Anthony Jennings will most likely start against New Mexico State this Saturday.
quote:

"We will play in a like fashion that we have in the past, with Brandon Harris getting a little more playing time," Miles said.

Ok...Ive said this before....the "Jeffersonian QB" is a huge problem...Miles is a likable guy, but he's got this wrong once again...The O-line problem is real...We will be lucky to win another SEC game this year...If we're gonna lose, we may as well let Harris get the game experience he needs....sheesh...ugly, ugly,

Jennings "putting it all together" against the Little Sisters of the Poor is not what we need to see...its "putting it all together" against the Vatican aka-Bama, A&M, Auburn, Ole Miss...ect!!!

Well we can hope for AJ to throw a pick six so that BH can get his chance.

Brandon Harris is too good of a recruit to not get an opportunity to shine in a game like this. Even coaches won't know how he handles games unless he plays in one.

It's amusing to see the "backup QB is unbeatable" mentality is still alive and well in our fan base. At least we are consistent in our bitching year after year....somewhere Bryan Sparacino is smiling.

YOU CANT TELL ME that Miles wouldve put Jennings back in the game at the end of the MSU game.......

... So DONT tell me now!!!

This is atrocious!

Both QBs are good, it's the OLine that is the issue. Both QBs can throw the ball well, Harris just got a lot more time to throw sine MSU was only rushing 3 men. Forget the QB issue, FIX THE LINES!

Jennings is just one game away from putting it all together. Maybe this will be the week!! Les doesn't have an 80% winning percentage for nothing.

What Les miles means is that next time we go down 3 scores BH will get to play. What matter does it make any way if all the QBs do is hand off? This would be a perfect game to open up the offense full bore and let them get much needed experience.

Guys, if the Jefferson situation taught us anything, its that Les doesn't care what anyone else thinks, or how the QB actual preforms on the field, once he makes a decision its over. Jennings will start every game for the next 3 years regardless of performance.

Brandon Harris getting a little more playing time means absolutely NOTHING! LOL, by little he means he may hand the ball one extra time.

I am not saying give up as fans, but can't we at least get 1 non-conference game start for Brandon Harris? Is that too much to ask? AJ is what he is. I wouldn't hurt him any if he did not start this week. If we are going to go 8-4 at least let's take a look.....

LSU will be lucky to finish 8-4 or even better 9-3 the way they played last Saturday. Are you kidding me? @ Auburn, @ Florida, @ TA&M, @ ARK. How many wins do you see there? Plus home against Alabama, and Ole Miss left. Basically every SEC team left on LSU's schedule is playing better football right now!!!!
