Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen spoke with the Tuscaloosa media on Wednesday after practice and had some interesting comments regarding LSU running back Leonard Fournette and his physical play.

Allen told the media that he enjoys playing against angry and physical backs like Fournette because it makes him angry too. Per 247Sports:
quote:

"Because it makes me angry," Allen said. "We love that, especially the D-line and the front seven, the defense we play for, we love that. We love physical backs. ... We don't get hit, we hit them, that's how it is.

"As a defense, we don't take hits, we give the hits."

LSU is sick of hearing about alabama defense.
We will be more than capable to throw on them.
WE HAVE THE WR's! Their D-line is great and their secondary is NOT. They have LB's who can play vs the run. I say throw to LF7. He's the best guy on the field!

Now Im not saying all the breaks go to bama, but if they lose a couple more games will the "committee" keep them in the top 4??

I'm an LSU fan, and I hope they win the game. I'm also a former football player thru the high school level. This guy is not trash talking like Dee Ford of Auburn. He is being baited by the media to say things specifically about Fournette and he repeatedly redirects and just touts the Bama D mantra. I would expect nothing less from a Bama D player under Saban. Fournette may get his licks and he may get his, but at the end of the game no matter what occurs, I would bet that they will have mutual respect for one another.

Subtle trash talk. Sorry but I'm not overly impressed by Bama defense at all. Good team, good defense(especially front seven), but have not been impressed this year. I like LSU I this one. Despite the foolishness Allen is talking, hits will be dealt out and received on both ends, for both teams. They will get hit too.

I saw BAMA get run on, by worse running teams than LSU.

LSU is tired of hearing about BAMA that "awesome" defense.

Gonna be a war. Buckle up tight, this is grown man football.

DoubleDown

Go to your own message board. Nobody here cares about your inbred, "9 hair" opinion.

Your boys are going to be getting hit all night! Ole Miss and Tennesee gave them hell! They are about to be brought back to reality Saturday night!

Go tell your Uncle Daddy to cut back on your meds.
