Four-star dual-threat quarterback Justin Rogers from Bossier City, LA announced Wednesday night that he has committed to TCU, a decision that many saw coming.

Rogers, the No. 1 QB prospect in Louisianna for 2018, chose the Horned Frogs over LSU and North Carolina.

The 6-4, 200-pound prospect from Parkway High School is rated the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback in the country and the No. 3 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2018, according to ESPN.

Yeah because LSU has won championships recently. Even as an LSU fan, you can't tell me we're elite anymore.

7 conference championships in 17 years. Big XII Championship 2 years after joining. In 2014, TCU became just the fourth program in history to have competed in all six of the modern day CFP bowls (Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Cotton, Peach and Orange). TCU joined Florida State University, Miami(FL) and the University of Tennessee to earn this distinction. TCU has a combined 6–5–1 record in those bowls, notching wins in all but the Fiesta and Orange. But, yeah....

lsusportsman.... ummmm... we play in the hardest conference, in the hardest division, in the world. We are putting more players in the NFL than anyone. We have players transferring to LSU to get the prepared for the next level. We have by far one of the top 5 coaching staffs in the country. I'm not sure what your definition of "elite" is, but I can promise you LSU is far closer to it than TCU.

I don't know why everyone is making a big deal from this. LSU brought in 2 of the top QBs in the country this year. He wasn't going to unseat Narcisse or Brennan for the starting gig. He went somewhere where he could have the opportunity to showcase his skill set. He's a Louisiana guy and I wish him the best. Everyone should.

TCU = quick and easy path to break records against flag football defenses in a video game league. The hype machine over there will get him drafted without taking the lumps of SEC blitzes, if he would even see the field. Great decision.
