He may very well never see a snap, but I've heard this argument a few times now, and not sure how much weight it carries... When you're a competitor things like this don't matter, and can serve as motivation. Only one of those 7 TE's has seen the field for any significant amount of time, and Latu isn't anything to write home about. LSU's TE talent is much better... He knows he's not beating out Bech (who's now a true Sophomore) or the other 2 guys behind Bech.

It is. CBK has a long track record of ND TEs in the NFL. We are short at TE. He would have had legit shot at year 1 starting.
