Recruiting: Daylon Charlot De-Commits From Alabama

Following Daylon Charlot's visit to LSU this past weekend, the four-star wide receiver prospect from Patterson, LA (Patterson HS) told LSU head coach Les Miles that he was de-committing from Alabama. Per Jimmy Smith with Nola.com:

quote:Charlot is rated as the 5th best player in the State of Louisiana and the 19th best wide receiver in the country.
"I told Coach (Les) Miles that I was decommitting from Alabama when we sat to talk today," an excited Charlot said. "He was excited, very excited. He said they need me really bad. "I got home late so I plan on calling Coach (Billy) Napier at Alabama in the morning to let him know. I think they may even be coming by on Monday, really."
