The entire LSU coaching staff visited with four-star wide receiver and top priority target Ja’Marr Chase this weekend.

Chase, a 6-1, 192-pound prospect from Metairie, LA (Archbishop Rummel) will be deciding between LSU and Auburn on National Signing Day this Wednesday.

He is rated the No. 4 wide receiver in the country and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports.

Chase committed to Florida back in July of 2017, choosing the Gators over LSU and TCU but de-committed in November and reopened his recruitment.

I get it, we want him, it's a black eye if we don't get him. How many stud receivers can we have? Definitely going to be some attrition. Guess we'll find out who the next Diarses and Quinns are.

When even Jerry Sullivan leaves the nursing home to come visit you, you know they want you badly.

Jerry Sullivan looks completely out of place.

He must have been out in the backyard smoking the brisket and didn’t want to get his LSU gear dirty.

Of the remaining recruits he and Surtain are musts. Wr and cb are depleted after this year. Very few with any experience are returning.

Auburn hasn’t been getting very many Louisiana recruits over the years. I’m pretty sure this kid stays home and he will be an outstanding grab for LSU.
