Riverside Academy quarterback Jordan Loving announced Friday that he has committed to LSU and will join the team this summer as a preferred walk-on.
The 6-3, 205-pound pro-style passer from Reserve, LA received his offer from the coaching staff back in early January. LSU has been his "dream school" growing up and now Loving will get to fulfill his dream by suiting up for the Tigers next season.

It is a disgrace and not call for to rain on this kid parade. It is obvious that he could have gone to another school were he could received some playing time, but choose to walk on at LSU his dream school. Let the kid enjoy his moment without all the negative bs, you never, never, know how his career will turn out.

Agreed. Not comparing him to Baker. But Baker Mayfeild was a walk on. Kid turned out to be a super star at the college level

Congrats Jordan. People on here gushing over this like O did something good. SMH. We had a elite 11 qb in our on backyard that O let TCU poach from us. Now we are trying to throw hail mary's with Foster in this class and Gunnel in 19. O sure isn't doing well in the QB recruiting department.

This is a great move, no cost, no risk, at the most important position.... McMillan will transfer if he loses QB race in the fall, we may not get Foster at all, we HAVE to bring in an arm this year, that's all there is to it. He won't be bitching about RSing, he will probably stay the whole 5, if you just look at it from risk/reward it's another great off-season move

Rolling my eyes at all the comments from the "Envious and Jealous" Rant geeks that have never played a down of organized football in their lives.............

Is this honestly even relevant? This kid will literally never take a snap at LSU...

Okay, what do you know about this kid? What insight do you have? JJ and Harris were top dt qbs coming out. You never know until they get on the field with college coaches what they are capable of.

With Scott transferring, if they don’t land James Foster, this kid may end up taking snaps at LSU. They’re selling out for Gunnell in ‘19 but he’s committed to A&M and his brother is on the faggies team. They’re going to start from scratch with Jordan’s mechanics.

Big athletic kid. Establishing LSU recruiting at Riverside is huge. It's a good walk on. You never know. Remember clay Matthews and jj watt were both walk ones in college. Go tigers.
