LSU LB Target Shanon Reid Commits To Tennessee

Three-star outside linebacker target Shanon Reid from Fort Myers, FL (Dunbar) announced Wednesday afternoon that he has committed to Tennessee.
He chose over the Vols over LSU, Michigan, and Mississippi State.

LSU didn't offer him this weekend and he was waiting to hear from them and the call never came. All the best to him

He's a three star and weights a hair over 200lbs. I doubt he would have played anything but special teams at LSU. He might not see anything but special teams for the Vols. If he's fast, I expect TENN to move him to safety by his sophomore year. I can't see playing LB in the SEC at that weight. Its possible, just not likely.

Good point. I have a feeling we'll get what we need on NSD. And don't forget we have Devin White and Donnie Alexander with a year under Aranda. Both should be major players next year. (Actually, we'll see both in the bowl game, as Beckwith is out.)

He'd have to gain 20+Ibs of muscle and not lose a step speed wise. That tough to do.
