Three-star outside linebacker target Shanon Reid from Fort Myers, FL (Dunbar) announced Wednesday afternoon that he has committed to Tennessee.

He chose over the Vols over LSU, Michigan, and Mississippi State.

He didn't even have an LSU offer. So he "chose" Tennessee? Well no shite. That's like a 1 legged man giving up running track. Captain Obvious strikes again.

He's a three star and weights a hair over 200lbs. I doubt he would have played anything but special teams at LSU. He might not see anything but special teams for the Vols. If he's fast, I expect TENN to move him to safety by his sophomore year. I can't see playing LB in the SEC at that weight. Its possible, just not likely.

Good point. I have a feeling we'll get what we need on NSD. And don't forget we have Devin White and Donnie Alexander with a year under Aranda. Both should be major players next year. (Actually, we'll see both in the bowl game, as Beckwith is out.)
